Education Circle Meeting
Capital One 360 Café in San Francisco (formerly ING Direct), 101 Post Street, at the corner of Kearny and Post, San Francisco, CA 94108
Join us for our March meeting! Members recently formed Inquiry Teams that will spend time over the next few months researching potential grant partners. Teams will share their findings (2-3 organizations) at March's meetings. Check out what the teams are investigating below; and join a team if you haven't already!
- Policy & Advocacy Team - How can public demand for education change be sharpened?
- College & Careers Team - Which organizations and leaders are taking innovative approaches to college and career placement?
- Students Team - How might students customize their own academic experience?
- iZone Team - How might we support an innovation zone in San Mateo County and throughout Silicon Valley?
Members: If you aren't on a team, contact email@example.com to get connected. You are welcome to change and move about, so don't be afraid to just jump in and see how it goes.
Potential Members: Now is a great time to get involved. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to get connected. You can join an Inquiry Team while you are considering membership, but remember that you'll need to be a paying member by the time we vote on Grant Partners in May.
Agenda (subject to change):
6:15pm - Dinner & Networking
7:00pm - Welcome & Introductions
7:25pm - Inquiry Team Presentations
8:15pm - Meeting wraps up
We look forward to seeing you there!
