What if California's students had a lobbyist?
They do. Want to meet her?
The Education Circle meeting on September 28 is shaping up to be a very interesting one. Please take a moment now to RSVP, and take note that this month we will be meeting at the offices of Cooley LLP, 101 California Street, 5th Floor.
Our guest speaker, Katie Van Ginkel, is a high school student with an unusual extracurricular interest: California education policy. As the Government Affairs Program Director of the California Association of Student Councils (CASC), Katie organizes and represents the interests of California's students.
We have invited Katie to speak to the Education Circle, and to frame her comments in the context of our ongoing series based on the Full Circle Education Impact Guide. Please RSVP now for this cool event!
Agenda:(subject to change)
6:15pm - Dinner and Project Team Breakouts
7:30pm - Impact Guide Discussion: Students, with Guest Speaker Katie Van Ginkel
Full Circle Fund's Education Circle strives to improve the effectiveness of public education in the Bay Area, especially for underserved communities.
