Members of our new Full Circle Fund Rising Leaders Program are hosting an Idea Jamathon on Saturday, June 8, 2013 in San Francisco, where a select group of nonprofits and social entrepreneurs will get a full day of pro-bono consulting assistance from our members, and one organization will receive $5,000!
The Rising Leaders will vet and select eight organizations/social entrepreneurs to receive day-long brainstorming/working sessions with Rising Leaders and other Full Circle Fund members. This opportunity will help potential grant partners gain entry to the Full Circle Fund community, or be welcomed back (for former partners).
The social entrepreneur or a representative from the nonprofit organization must be able to attend in person on June 8. Possible areas for assistance include:
* Marketing/messaging session to enhance your pitch and collateral
* Social media strategy and campaign development
* Development strategy sessions
* How to use technology to optimize your reach
* Advisory or executive board development brainstorm
* How to scale your product or idea

10:30-11: Guests and Participants Arrive
11:00: Nonprofit Leaders and Rising Leaders Give High-Level Overview of Org/Issue/Opportunity
11:45: Grab Lunch and Select Breakout
12:00-4:00: Consulting/Working Sessions
4:00: Rising Leaders and Orgs Present Solutions/Work Products
5:00: Rising Leaders Vote
5:30-7: Cocktail Hour + Celebration with All Participants
At the end of the event, organizations or individuals will present their "solution" to the challenge presented, and a grant prize of $5,000 will be awarded to the organization or social entrepreneur selected by the Full Circle Fund Rising Leaders as the most promising.
We'll introduce you to our 2013 Grant Portfolio: the promising organizations chosen by our members, who are poised to make an impact in the fields of education, environment/energy and global economic opportunity.
Grant Partners brought to the forefront by our members have advanced to secure their next rounds of funding from respected entities such as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, The Skoll Foundation and more. Come meet our new grant partners - both rising stars and established organizations that continue to push the boundaries of social innovation!
We're heading back to Point Reyes for our annual weekend of friends, fun, and Full Circle Fund! This is the one weekend a year when we leave the city behind and take a step back from the day to day to focus on getting to know each other more deeply, and how we can drive our mission forward more effectively in the coming year.
